This happens to me a bit too often, typically after I have been away from my computer and unlocks my screen.
I am Win 10 and Plexamp 1.1.0. The player continue to play fine but I cannot control it in the window, just from the Windows bottom tool bar.
And if I clicks the play symbol it looks like this (click again and it toggles back to above):
An observation from today, changing the size of the player redraws the player correctly. …so no need to close the player to fix the issue.
Hopefully addressed in an upcoming large upgrade
