Plexamp not retaining size when opened on a monitor with a different scaling from the main monitor

Hi, the other topic where this was being discussed and troubleshooted (troubleshot?) here: Plexamp no longer retaining window resize after upgrading to 4.4 Windows 11 - #47

The other topic auto-closed since I forgot to bump it.

Any headway on this yet @elan or @aubrey.wodonga? Appreciate the update.

Hi @elan and @aubrey.wodonga, any progress on this issue?

Checking in, @elan or @aubrey.wodonga, any word on when this might be resolved? Is it even on the radar?

It’s me again. New Plexamp update and this problem still persists. Is there any update on this problem @aubrey.wodonga or @elan? The problem has been around for over a year now and the bug reproduction process has been known for about six months after @ShadeRF figured out the problem and I confirmed.

I know you’re busy, but any communication of whether it’s still being looked in to or even a “we don’t have time for this” would be nice.

Thanks.

Please guys, this bug is beyond annoying. I’m not even mad at this point, just disappointed.

@aubrey.wodonga is on vacation, but when he gets back I’ll ping him about it.

Thanks, @elan, we appreciate the update!

Any update here?

I’m back, currently working on an electron upgrade that might bring some improvements. Failing that, will be firing up a Windows VM to try and reproduce the issue there. Thanks for your patience, and apologies for the delay!

Still broken in 4.9.0. :frowning:

That’s frustrating! Apologies for the delay on the fix. We were hoping the electron upgrade would help us out on this one.

I’ll continue investigating and see what else we can do.

Interestingly, it is doing something I don’t recall happening before. When it’s on my 2nd monitor with the different DPI setting, each subsequent close, it gets larger until the the next open would make it larger than the screen. Then on the next open it moves to monitor 1 at default size.

Confirmed @ShadeRF’s experience, still resizing after close. Thanks for continuing to chase this down, @aubrey.wodonga.

Hi @aubrey.wodonga, just checking to see if there was any news on squishing this bug.

Monthly check in to see if there is any word on this issue, @aubrey.wodonga and @elan.

@aubrey.wodonga This is still broken in 4.10 :frowning:

Can this please be revisited and given a serious look?

Monthly status check, @aubrey.wodonga and @elan. Any word?

Checking in again hoping to get some sort of status update on whether this is being looked into or if it’s just not important enough to matter and will never be fixed. It’s been radio silence since before the first of the year, @elan and/or @aubrey.wodonga, is this ever going to be fixed?

We’ve been upgrading Electron and hoping for a fix from their side, nothing yet.

Thanks for the update, I appreciate it!
