Hi everyone,
I just got a new Vizio TV (E65-E1) with Smartcast (which is in fact the Vizio branding for Googlecast). I am able to Cast correctly using secure connection from a computer with Chrome, and my iPhone with Plex App. Unfortunately, when I try to cast from my iPad, it gives me the error “VIZIO is unable to connect to plex securely, and insecure connections are not permitted.” If I change the Secure connections to preferred, I can cast from my iPad but it’s give me a warning about insecure connections.
iPad App Build is 11387 (should be latest)
PMS Build is plexpass latest 1.8.4.4249
TV Firmware is 3.3.18.1 (also latest)
I should be able to provide server and client logs if needed.
