Vizio tv now says Plex is not reachable. switched modems/router recently but set it up (new router/mod)on tv

just updated on my windows machine…don’t know how to find player version…very confused about this whole system to be honest…but it was fine then it stopped working…TIA

hello?? anyone? can’t use plex now…and can’t figure out a way to alter or restart or reinstall the app on vizio tv from last year

Does the server work on your computer or where ever you have the server installed? What model TV do you have?

it was fine and has been for quite a while…switched from home to business class w/spectrum because they are such dbags and won’t fix the node in my area…so the router and modem got switched out…my tv is a vizio 505-g9 from last year…thank you so much!

Can you access your server fine on other devices such as the web browser on your computer?

is it a single unit now or two separate devices? Does it have a firewall or anything possibly blocking things.

I am having the same issue on my Vizio TV. The app disappeared. I can chrome cast Plex to the Display. But the Vizio native app is missing. This happened in the last 24-48hrs.

yes I can play things on the computer…I’m guessing there is a firewall in the new modem but don’t know how to switch it and also don’t remember needed to do that previously (I’ve had this system on at least one and I really thing two or maybe three different modem/routers

I can cast too…and holy cow I just checked right now and my app is gone as well!!

I was just told by a couple developers that the app moved in the re-arrange apps section yesterday for some reason to the very bottom in list of apps. They are not sure why it moved

Hello!

Wow. Yeah. It wasn’t at the end in mine. It was right in the middle on both TVs. Slot 37 of like 50 if anyone else is looking. And I think the color changed from black to white. So it was hard to recognize.
