VOBSUB not showing on 576p on Nvidia Shield Pro

Does anyone know why I dont get the subtitles (vobsub) to show on 576p movies on the Nvidia Shield Pro? They show fine on 1080p (without transcoding), and on other players I dont have that problem. I can get them to show If I set the settings Burn Subtitles to Always and not Automatic. Then it transcodes from H265 to H264.

Thanks for the report. I can confirm I’m seeing the same thing, and I’ll file an issue internally for us to resolve this.

There was another thread on this topic that never got resolved, hopefully you can push this through. I haven’t been able to direct play my subtitled dvd rips for over a year now. [Bug] Inconsistent subtitle behavior - #46 by Mattroid

Latest update seems to have fixed vobsub playback on my 480p dvd rips. Thanks!
