VPN with Plex Media Server

Hi,

I’m having troubles with the Plex Media Server. Normally I’d start the PMS without VPN turned on. PMS will use your normal IP address to configure the server. After that I’d turn on my VPN client and could do all things normally.

Now, since a few weeks, for some kind of reason PMS will check the IP address after a few minutes and change it. This is a problem, because at that time it will change the IP address tot the VPN IP.

After that you can understand that the server is not reachable anymore from out of my house. This is a big problem, does anyone know the solution for it and why Plex has added the feature of changing the IP address after some time while PMS is running?
