I wanted to change my email address on my account, some how created a new account. Realised my mistake and deleted the new account. Went into correct account to change email address, get the message email account already taken? I deleted the account so the email address should be also deleted from plex database, why is it not? I need to change the email address asap.
Email addresses are kept locked for 30 days after the deletion of the associated account.
This is mentioned in the confirmation message which is shown when deleting accounts.
You need to wait these 30 days before you can try again to change the email address.
