At some, point Waoo (energimidt) became Waoo (eniig).
And they changes there EGP and Tuner settings.
this changes has not benne made to Plex so I can only choose Waoo (energimidt)
But because of the changes I can only find a half my channels when doing a channel search and half the channel it do find lacks and frizzes because of wrong tuner setting
there also is no EPG Data to Waoo (eniig) I have fix this whit the help of a plugin
epg-dk.
Still right now, I can only see and record around 10% of my tv channels I get from Waoo (eniig).
Yes, I delete all my DVRs
and the Channels shows up fine under the setup but only the old Channels shows up under the tv guide.
If I restart, plex the missing Channels shows up but whit no guide data.
The if I run a guide fetch the channels disappears again
dose plex saves data somewhere when using epg.xmltv ?
If channels are missing then there’s sadly nothing I can do about it, since I get the list from another provider (Yousee) and I have no api for other providers
your tuner is not scanning all frequencies, so only a part of the available stations is found
your EPG doesn’t show you programming guides for all stations
While @dane22 can help you with 2),
I can only help you with 1)
Thanks for the updated frequency list. I was able to use the informations contained therein, to prepare an updated frequency list for your cable provider.
here it is: 5256.zip (347 Bytes)
Extract the .ini file from the zip,
then copy it to the folder Resources\Tuner\Shared\scanners\dvbc\transponders
overwriting the already existing file of the same name.
The Resources folder is located in the Plex program folder, (that is where the Plex executables are stored. That means, your updated file will get overwritten during the next plex server software update.)
Afterwards, you will probably have to erase your DVR from Plex and re-create it.
I will try to submit the updated ini file so it gets included with a future Plex version.
I’m finding all my channels (it’s a complete list) and I can watch them all in the HDHomeRun win10 app. But I’m missing like EPG for 35 channels in the app.
Btw my list is for Waoo (Fibia) and not Waoo (eniig). I’m not sure that they have the same channels.
I don’t understand danish, so I went with what you wrote in your first post above.
I based my .ini file on your PDF, so it covers all frequencies for Waoo (Fibia).
But since you are using a HDhomerun as your tuner, you won’t really need it.
(The HDhomerun scans for stations on its own. It doesn’t need assistance from Plex to do it.)
But any other Plex user which has for instance a PCI tuner card may be needing it.
The pdf is just a an overview over the different channels and what you get in the different packages. I got the “Waoo Viasat stor TV-pakke (inkl. Waoo Viasat Favorit TV-pakke)” package which include all their channels.
So my table should be a list of all their channels and the frequencies. I got the information from the HDHomeRun scanner.
I can get most of the epg data from epg-dk plugin, but I will missing 2-3 channels I think. Is it not possible for Plex to update your EPG from your provider? I get nothing when i’m picking Waoo as guide provider.
The issue with only a single channel showing up is because of a problem on Gracenote’s end. We reported it to them yesterday and have been in conversations about fixing it. I’m hoping it’ll be fixed in the next couple of days.
Thanks for the updates on the frequency list. I’ll get those merged into the ones we distribute with PMS.
