In all your gyrations, have you:
- With PMS stopped
- Settings - Authorized Devices - Server (dropdown)
- Deleted the multiple instances of the server before attempting to claim it?
- Signed OUT of Plex/web app & close the winodw
- Then started
- Open browser window and claimed?
