Lost remote server after password reset

Both local and remote were online before password reset.

managed to claim local server but failed with remote server.

stopped server tried to remove token, name and mail from preferences.xml as stated at “what if I lost my server”, started the remote server and did not get the claim server prompt. Instead, I got the libraries from the local server.

https://plex.tv/api/resources?X-Plex-Token=YOURTOKENHERE shows the remote server in there with owned=1

http://remoteIP:32400/identity shows claimed=“0”

Remote server does not exist either in account / Authorized Devices

Friendly name is Plex@Feral

Also tried claimpsm.sh and failed:
plex.tv Username: Micma99

plex.tv Password:
plex.tv Password Repeated:
IP Address of PMS server: 10.4.229.10
Comparing entered passwords
Comparing entered passwords ok
Validating IP address
Getting PMS Server Identifier
Getting PMS Server Identifier ok
Getting User Token from plex.tv
******** ERROR ********
We failed to authenticate towards plex.tv
Please check username and password, as well as network access

Sorry, been  today. LOL

In the Linux Tips (FAQ) I have:

You want the “Second Choice” (hard reset) using the claim token.

This works over SSH without a GUI.

Couldn’t figure out the curl command as this server is on a shared hosting provider. I ended backing up the databases for library and watch info, deleted and installed a new instance and restored databases. Took 5 minutes.

This server Plex@Feral (friendly name) still shows up at plex.tv/api/resources. Will it eventually disappear from there or can you delete it? It does not show up in my Authorized Devices.

Thanks!

@Micma99

I deleted the @Ferel server

Thank you very much for your dedication, appreciate it!
