Watch a TV episode while it's being Recorded

Really sorry if this has been asked before guys and girls. Is there a way to watch recorded TV as soon as it’s started to recorded?

I’ve moved from Windows Media Centre Plex does a good job but M$ handled this process better. Meaning you could watch stuff as soon as it started recording.

The wife is driving me mad. “Why do I have to wait till it’s finished recording? I never used to!”

I have tried to explain we don’t use M$ any more but trust me this is hard work. :slight_smile:

You cannot watch the file that is being recorded since that won’t exist until it’s done recording. You can watch what is being recorded live from the guide. Just select start from beginning when you hit play. You can skip forwarded as needed up to the live point.

As long as you don’t use android client where its been broken for 6 months (this latest failure)
