Watch history haven't updated in 6 days despite having watched several episodes fully

As the title says, I’ve had trouble in recent days getting my Watch history on my profile to update since I have watched several shows from start to finish, none of which is showing up anymore for some reason. I have no idea what could be the cause since I’ve tried to stop the sync and then start it again. In case it helps then, I use Plex on Windows. Sort of difficult to fix something when you don’t know the cause.

Would be really appreciated if someone could help me out

I am having the exact same issue, I have never really noticed my watch history before but I just set up a server again recently and have been seeing my friend’s activity but not my own. It only shows 4 movies over the past 2 years when I watch several a week since I bought plex lifetime membership in 2014. EDIT: welp i guess it shows my username I have nothing to hide tho haha

This is a common issue due to a bug in the server code

I kinda forgot about this thread after solving it. Turned out the easiest fix to the issue was not to restart Plex, stop the sync or do anything software-related but to simply restart the physical machine itself. In my case I have a Western Digital My Cloud Home so after I restarted it through the WD My Cloud Home portal everything fixed itself.

Just putting it out there in case someone stumbles upon the same issue
