Since about 24 hours ago my watch history has stopped syncing on my plex profile. I can see watch history in the dashboard but it’s not syncing to my plex profile activity. I’ve restarted plex. Rebooted server. Turn off/on sync. As far as I can tell there were no changes to my server or plex install between an episode that was marched as watch and the next one that isn’t syncing watch status.
I’m suffering from the same issue here on Docker. I have been running the same image since March 11th, and plays have stopped registering on my profile in the night between Friday 21/03 and Saturday 22/03 GMT time. I have checked the PMS logs and there seems to be no issues with SyncWatchState. I also have no watch activities from my friends since that timeframe. My plays show up in the local View history table.
Reviews appear to be fine and showing up both on the profile and activity feeds.
I’ve watched about 20 episodes that are not in my watch history on the profile. Last one that shows is from Mar 22 at 12:11am PST. Anything after that is not showing/syncing. I had 3 episodes from a few days finally sync more than 24 hours after watching them then the sync stopped working.
Same issue here on a linux server, i have watched few episodes friday and it took time to sync (12 hours later) but since the 22/03 my activity history is not syncing with the account. Yet my watch history logs seems to be ok locally when i check the dashboard…

in Docker. The last thing to show up in my watch history
was on March 21st.
It also has not updated any of the Activity by you
data since the 21st either. However, if I go to the local View History table for any shows I have watched since the 21st the plays at least seem to be showing up correctly in there. So, it seems to be an issue specifically with the Activity by you
and watch history
sections.

I’m also experiencing this issue on Windows. My watch history has stopped syncing with my Plex profile, even though I can see the watch history in the dashboard. Ratings are working fine.

I first noticed it a day or so ago and it was showing the last item was played on my profile history was Mar 21st - but checking this morning It seems like the items are syncing - it’s just lagging a few days behind as today (Mar 24) I have from items from Mar 22nd - with items from yesterday or today still not showing.
The underlying issue has been resolved. There might be a bit of delay still while things in the queue get processed.

I’m having this issue on Windows as well, but oddly enough, it only started after I migrated my Plex server from an old device to a new one today. What’s also odd is I can start a movie or show, stop watching halfway through and Plex will show how much I’ve already watched and how much is left, as well as the option to resume. I’m not entirely sure why my watch history isn’t updating if it’s remembering where I’ve stopped watching stuff.
