My Watch History

Hello, I have an odd one. I did a server swap from an old Windows machine to a newer Windows machine. It went very smooth. No hiccups to speak of.

A few weeks ago I noticed that if I click “View Profile” on the top right corner of my screen, “My Watch History” hasn’t updated since I did the server swap.

This is not the end of the world but I would like it to keep track of it. I have gone through troubleshooting with some topics I found here on Plex Forums with no success.

When I did the server swap I did copy the Plex Media Server folder on the old server as well as the Registry. Previously watched transferred over 100% fine, along with collections, watchlist, etc….

Would anybody have a clue or an idea what would be causing this?

Like I said, I have done all the troubleshooting steps I could find on the PLEX Forums with no luck yet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That is your watch history that is synced to plex.tv account, not your servers play history.

Do you have Sync watch state and ratings enabled for your account? https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/account

Yes that is active.

I was talking about this…

Everything on your profile is what is at plex.tv .

Your server’s local play history is accessed on the dashboard

Is your current server libraries using the modern agents?
Is there any possible networking issue blocking syncing?
If you look at your server logs you can filter by/look for lines that have [ViewStateSync] in them to see if there are any errors
