PMS v1.0.0.2261 not showing activity from PHT anymore. Please fix a.s.a.p. for server side.

Since the forum is the only way to report a problem this is a double post due to me posting it first from my no Plex pass user account by mistake and not being able to delete or edit that post. Hopefully this problem can be fixed fast.

Plex Server 1.0.0.2261 stopped showing activity from Plex home theater users.
In two other topics people bring up the problem where PHT does not keep track of what you viewed, seems correct if the server does not see there activity:

A reply in the second link states there wont be a fix and Open PHT should be used instead of PHT.
This i really can’t understand, for the server side at least.
No fix for the server side seems ridiculous, i can understand that support for a old player stops but server side i should be able to see who accesses my server and now i can’t.
If i check my router upload i can actually see people are using my server but nothing is being shown in PMS.
PHT is in some ways still a better player then PMP, at least some have that opinion and i can’t force them to use another player cause i can’t see there activity.
Sometimes i just check my activity if somebody is on my server viewing something, if not i know i don’t have to control my bandwidth of some programs at that moment. Now this is impossible and for a server which hosts content it is unacceptable to not being able to check current usage.

My questions:
Can we get a confirmation on this problem?
Is there a way to temporary fix this server side?
Will a future update to the server fix this problem?
