Signed up for plex a few weeks ago,and browsed their titles.“The Shield” was/is what i have been trying to watch since signup, but for whatever reason it says this show is not available in any locations.
I can see the eps listes..seasons etc..looks like it should be viewable.
Is this an error within plex?
I had plex before, and nothing like this was an issue. The show is on my watchlist, and should play.Wish there was a “contact us” option, but there does not appear to be one.
Thanks to anyone who has a clue.
Plex‘s Discover feature lists movies and shows from various sources. It will also show if those are currently available for streaming on Plex or other streaming providers (e.g. free, as part of a subscription or to purchase/rent) — incl. personal Plex libraries hosted by yourself or a friend who’s sharing their library with you.
It can happen that a show is available with a provider but Plex isn’t aware.
Plex itself isn’t giving you access to „all movies/shows“ (unless it’s in their own catalog)… just a entry point and overview, where to find/watch things.
Edit: when you add a show to your watchlist, you can get notifications if that show is available with one of your streaming platforms.
