This morning I log into my LG TV’s Plex App, and I find that it can’t find my server. I log into my computer, and update my Plex, and it still can’t find the Server. I have tried downloading the Server Update, going to WD My Cloud Home (Disabling, and re-enabling), etc. But I can’t find a way to update to the latest version of the server software. Any suggestions?

If I remember correctly, the updates for your Plex Media Server on a WD My Cloud home will be distributed / made available by WD. Plex will provide them with the updates… however occasionally it can take quite some time for them to be available to users.

Unlike a regular Plex Media Server you might run on a computer or NAS device, you can’t arbitrarily update the server version. Instead, new Plex Media Server updates will be delivered by Western Digital in the control panel of the My Cloud Home.

As for the main issue at hand… can you access your Plex Media Server through its web interface (e.g. via http://app.plex.tv/desktop or http://[MyCloud IP address]:32400/web)?
