I have observed a change in artist album listing UI. Before it was a whole page filled with albums that you can scroll within the browser and now it’s a horizontal scroller that shows 5-6 items at a time.
This is problematic as my Various Artists contains hundreds of compilation albums and scrolling through that using that UI is like having full time job.
Suggestion - keep the current UI but when there are more than X items, make the “Compilations” label clickable and go to a full page with all the albums, that can be scrolled in the page and not the horizontal thingy. Probably same goes for other categories as I’m sure others will hit that issue.
At the moment my work around is to use plexamp, as there this feature works exactly as described - clickable “Compilations” with a separate view which list all the albums in a list view.
