Web player does not redirect when network is allowed without auth

Server Version#: 1.41.8.9834
Player Version#: Web

If I access my server using it’s IP:Port normally it redirects me to the login page https://:32400 automatically redirects to https://:32400/web/index.html

However if I add my network to the “List of IP addresses and networks that are allowed without auth” in Settings >> Network, then go to https://:32400 it displays an XML error “This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.”

Anything else is not guaranteed to work.

Just seems odd that it works without the /web/index.html if it’s not on the list of allowed with auth, but then fails when IP is added to the list.
