Continue watching in not syncing on Plex Web

Hello,

I just created a new managed user to use. The issue is that continue watching works on the TV and on the apps but on Plex Web when logging in via computer does not have continue watching accurate. I have logged in with different browsers and the issue is still the same.

Do you have anything in “List of IP addresses and networks that are allowed without auth”?
If you do, could you repeat the test outside of your home network (if you have a working remote access to your Plex server).

I don’t remember setting this but I’ll check really quick

Update: So I was able to login to plex web from another IP (ie: outside of my local IP) and plex web is working! @OttoKerner thanks for the suggestion. Where is that setting for this that I can change?? Also thanks in advance.

Settings - Server - ‘Show Advanced’ - Network

Keep in mind that you have probably set it previously to prepare for an internet outage.
I recommend you to change it thusly, to cover only one or two Plex client devices which you are using in the case of an internet outage. (as opposed to the whole local network)

Thanks. Found it, fixed it, added in “just in case we have no internet IP(s)” to the list and it works. Appreciate the help!!
