Webos preview app taking a long time to load on LG C9

It’s taking around 12 seconds for the app to load on my C9. During this process, the plex logo flickers and the screen goes from grey to black. After this time the app loads and I get presented with the managed user logon/selection screen.
I’ve been using the preview app through several versions and the behaviour (and load time) has remained consistent.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes - I get this too. I had assumed this was because the app in the LG App Store was older (Mine shows March 2020) and it was downloading the latest preview each time to run on the TV.

I assume that when the app is formally “released” we could download from the App from the LG App store.

I have a C7 and I agree the load time in terrible. The wife hates it and I agree with her.

I guess it is due to caching, so the UI can be more fluid after that.
