Weird Plex Desktop for Windows scaling issue on launch w/ 4k screen

Server Version#: 1.31.3.6868
Player Version#: Version 1.81.0.4012-a9d3f098

Every time I launch the player for the first time after a reboot or logoff, and sometimes just when launching for the first time that day, the app will load across the entire 4k screen, but will only render on part of it; how much depends on how high the scaling is turned up to (more scaling = less render size; it’s about a quarter of the screen at 200% scaling).

The only way to fix this is to wait for the login screen to load entirely (IE: make it past the Plex logo, which is also rendered in the small corner) and then re-launch the app. It then renders correctly and seems to do so until the next logoff/reboot happens or sufficient time has passed (IE: when I open it the next day).

I have this issue too. I don’t have a permanent fix, but what I do is drag the window from my 4K monitor onto a 1080p monitor, and then drag it back over, and it fixes the scaling. Obviously not a solution, but at least easier than relaunching.
