Not sure if this is the right place, I couldn’t find a help section or anything like that.
I have been having this problem for a few months now, it doesnt matter what I am watching it on, Roku, Windows PC(Chrome), or Android, the problem persists. It has followed through many server updates, and just continues to be a major annoyance to me.
What happens is that when I am watching a show or movie and decide that I want to rewind a few seconds, whether I press the rewind 10 seconds button, or use the scrubbing to go back a bit, the video will instead jump ahead a few minutes. Then when using the scrubbing thumbnails to find the correct spot, they no longer show the correct place. What I mean by that is the scrubbing thumbnails might show a scene I am looking for, but when I choose that spot, it will instead show the scene from a few minutes ahead.
Another problem this is almost certainly connected to this is that movies and shows will end a few minutes before they are actually over. Sometimes it can be as much as 10 minutes, so I miss the end of a movie completely, and I have to start it again and skip to the end. Then it will work.
It seems to only do all of this when watching something for a little while. If I start a movie or show and skip to the middle or end, it will always be in the correct spot.
