Weird things going on latest plex web realease

Have “plexmediaserver-1.9.7.4441-e5eb5d5a1.x86_64” now, and my plex web reports one user watching things other users are watching. PlexPY reports correct. I also get reports in plex web that users are watching movies as episodes, ill hand a photo with this to show what I mean.

As you can see from this photo a user is watching (pausing) a movie, while its reported as a series episode. Ill also hang a photo from PlexPy that shows whats really going on. There are currently 4 streams going on the server, but only 3 are relevant to the issue im having. As you can see plex web says its the same user, and weird media reporting of whats being played.

Another issue is that if I play something on my plex web, its reported one time, but if i open another tab in my chrome to plex web, plex web reports that i’m watching the same thing twice. If i do it again and open a new tab to plex web, its reporting i’m watching the same thing on 3 streams.

Whats up?

Plex Web Version 3.27.1

PlexPY Version 1.4.25

Edited picture, removed IP.

I have also picked up that some episodes do not complete when being viewed and stop abruptly close to the end. When watching an episode, it “completes” a min or 2 sometimes before the show actually completes.

This is running on the latest plex release and with the latest chromecast release.

This is a known issue in the web app. A source of the misbehaviour has not been found yet, since it o´nly occurs sporadically.
You can fix it though easily by ‘refreshing’ the web page in your web browser.

This is a different issue than the one the OP has described. Please report these in a separate thread from now on.
The behaviour is known and a fix is in development.

Thanks for the response. Yes I have tried that, closing all browser windows, but streams hangs when reopening. Dissapeared a bout 3-5 mins after original stream was terminated from plex web…
