Thanks - that one fix I guess is my issue but when they say initialization does that mean startup or access to any movie file?

Seems the issue has returned in some modes - mainly Random play mode in folders. Very strange crash issues, but much better than they have been in months.

My FireTV app definitely went from nearly unusable to almost fine to crashing six times when i opened but kind of playing normally (fine-bad) after along the same kind of timeline you’ve got here, but thankfully the update I got yesterday seemed to fix the crashing.
