None of my recent downloads are showing up on my phone. When I hit the download button it says “already downloaded” but when I check the libraries, it’s not there. Not even under the recommended tab. I’m also getting a few “some items could not be downloaded” notifications
On top of that, the app is only playing one song at time, then stops… Even if I have it on repeat or shuffle.
And sometimes, it takes over 10 minutes for my downloads to load. And sometimes they won’t load while something is playing.
This is getting ridiculous. I’m considering cancelling my subscription altogether.

It’s a good reminder, cos I got so used by now by experiencing this for the last 9 years.
Downloads have so many flaws, I wonder how they could release that altogether.
Downloads only work on your home network, or if you have a VPN connection to home. Well, look at the bright side. At least then you don’t waste your mobile data limits
It downloads movies but then refuses to play them. So it seems it doesn’t make a check whether the file works on the device or not, or there’s some other issue with it. But happened to me now to various different movies/TV Shows that I tried to watch offline
You think you save your mobile data when you watch a downloaded item? Think again. You must start it from the Downloads section. Don’t start it from the home screen, or it’ll stream it happily over your mobile data, and ignore the local file on your device
So you started watching the downloaded episode on your phone. Then continue for some time on another device, streaming from the server. Now you want to finish it again offline on your phone? Yeah, remembering where you left off is only working for “online” content. You will just have to find the spot where you left manually. No big deal. Again, you get to watch half of the episode again, cos you probably anyway already forgotten the plot, no?
Kinda hard to play something from the downloaded library when it takes 10 minutes to load up!
But I didn’t know the home network thing, I’ll try that and see if it works. It’s weird cuz I just downloaded something off my data in Plex and it worked! 🤷
I tried repeatedly to download something from my office wifi, so I can watch it on the way home. Just keeps telling me that an error occurred. Then I connect the VPN, and tada, it works immediately.
