I’m just being a smartass - I think it can be done pretty easily.
a. That script walks through all of the files.
b. For every file, it makes a directory, minus the file extension.
c. Then it moves the file into that directory.
I think (c) could be changed, to move all of the files with the same name into the directory.
100% untested, don’t use this! Unless you want.
md "%%~ni" && move "%%~i.*" "%%~ni"
It might break everything. It might complain about files that have been moved. It might work.
Also, just use FileBot.

and FileBot could have easily had my cash, but NooooOOOOooo (thank you, Noah)…lol
I feel a lot better about those purchases than I ever will about the $5 a month I’m paying
for Plex. <—so I have can that to rage quit on them when they really make me mad.

I don’t have any problem paying somebody for something they work like a dog on, forever, right now, and listen to you when you need something. Like an 8th Century Blacksmith (try whatever you got in mind without some of those guys).
I’m funny that way.
straight. On my PC it processes about 10 files a second. If there are already folders in the directory, it will skip them.

yeah, didnt work, but Ill either temp move my subtitle files or give Filebot a try. Thanks for all of your help everyone. I appreciate it.
I only recently discovered the sub-thing.
I can only imagine the time FB could have saved me in the past - and now, the future.
