Use app version 8.6.0.20351 it will solve your problem. On the plex firestick app you have to goto settings> advanced> allow hdmi audio passthrough, and then also under advanved turn ENABLE NEW VIDEO PLAYER to OFF.
Then on the firestick goto settings>Applications> Appstore and turn Automatic updares to off.
