What CPU for a Quadro p4000

Hi all

I currently have a 6850K at 4.3Ghz on all cores paired with a Quadro p4000, I have been using it as desktop, plex server, and Blu Ray ripping PC…

To be honest it runs fine…

However… it is power hungry to be left on 24 hours a day and I would like to turn it into a gaming PC…

I was thinking of pairing the Quadro P4000 with a Intel I3 Coffee Lake… I am unsure though if this will bottleneck the GPU in terms of transcoding 1080P.

What is the ideal Processor to run with a Quadro P4000 for optimum on the fly transcodes of 1080p 8Mbps? Most of the my Blu ray rips are 15Gb to 25GB in size and I often have 4-6 1080 transcodes at once with some 720p transcodes…

Would an I3 and a P4000 be capable of this?
