I have several users on my Plex that are saying their Plex app for Roku changed. Meaning they use to see my Library of movies called “Movie Plex”. That has disappeared. Now they only see Movies and TV Shows and a few other items in the menu on the Left. When they do a search, it doesn’t find all the movies. A user did a search for Dark Waters, and it didn’t find it. I see it in my search on the server.
Did something change on the server end or the client end that is causing this to happened. Is there a setting that the user has to change in the client to see my Movie library. Very confused why this is happening to several of my users.
Then they’ll have to Pin your Libraries back to their side bars and if all that ‘other stuff’ is still enabled - they’ll have to move what they pin from your server, back up side bar where it used to be. <—through another confusing trip down mystery lane.
Or Select Your Server when exploring ‘More’ - not shown at the bottom of the side bar above - and pending a miracle - it’ll happen automatically.
Hopefully.
It isn’t easy.
It makes no sense.
It’s not intuitive, by any stretch of the imagination.
… and chances are your Remote Viewers simply won’t be able to do it.
I just got back from the Road Trip myself.
