The link https://forums.plex.tv/sso no longer works - is there a replacement?

You shouldn’t need to use that anymore. What are you trying to do?

I’m trying to join the beta for Android TV versions. I got the following email:

" While signed in with the Google account you listed for the beta, please open the following link to go to Play Store and become a beta tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.plexapp.android" (this link does not work, says my account is not authorized).

"You also have access to a special beta forum area. Please use this to report issues and post questions or discussions about the beta builds. You’ll be able to access the beta area from our regular main forums page or you can visit “the beta builds forums” (https://forums.plex.tv/categories/beta-builds) directly. " (this link does not work, even when logged in with my Plex account with the same email as my Google account linked to the beta).

“If you don’t see the beta area or you get a message about permissions, visit ==> forums.plex.tv/sso <== to get things synced up for your account.” (this is the link I posted about that does not work that I was trying to resolve the fact that my google account did not seem to be linked to my Plex account - if I dont need to use this link anymore, what should I use?).

Oh. That’s an old message, before we switched forums. You don’t need that step anymore. The Android TV Beta section can be found at https://forums.plex.tv/c/testing/player-betas with the “Android TV Beta” tag. This area is no longer restricted to Plex Pass only so you should be able to see that section without any issues.

I see. Thanks for the heads up, I’ve posted over in the beta section about my Google accounts “your account isn’t currently eligible for this app’s testing program” error, indicating that the SSO link is no longer valid.

fyi, the apparently ‘old’ and no longer valid information is still in the email being sent out.
