I have had Plex for a ridiculously long time since 2014… Its been great never any issues. All kinds of great functionality. For my birthday this year I decided to purchase a new NAS. Setup plex and started moving all my stuff over… only to find… this is like a whole new app that sucks.
How do you have a product that is leaps and bounds ahead of everything else and ultimately perfect. Then nerf it and go backwards. This is like Microsoft… When they had Skype whic had so much functionality… Then here comes teams. Something as basic as being able to create a group of chats not even a feature…
Same thing here with plex… I mean wtf. I am using this to store and view my home media. Now I cant even get to my home media without having to hunt and search for it hidden from all this paywall garbage. On top of that, functionality that just worked flawlessly doesn’t work anymore. Meta Data… I have followed every guide possible on this forum to get my meta data to work and it just doesnt.
Wasted time and effort at this point. Guess time to move on. Its unfortunate.
