I can play back lots of stuff without any issues, including 4k HDR, but I suppose that’s without transcoding.
A rare subset of files - certain anime series - however, force a transcode which is too slow for this hardware to keep up with at high quality, so it drops to 0.2 Mbps SD, catches up and raises to 2 Mbps SD and might oscillate.
The transcoding happens with and without subtitles.
How can I find out why the transcode is happening, and is there any way to avoid it while still using the same clients? How can I confirm PMS is correctly detecting and using the GPU and Quick Sync Video features?
