What is included to the PMS backup files

I would like to know what is included to the PMS Backup files. I backeup meta files also. But I don’t know this backup includes log files, playlists, wiev history etc…

If someone explain me what is included to the Backup files, I will appreciated.

Backup?

If you mean “Download Database” in the PMS Plex/Web client, you are getting only the database. Nothing else which identifies the server as yours is with it. There is no metadata or posters or identity.

If you want a proper “full backup” of the entire server, I recommend:

  1. Create a shared folder named “PlexData” anywhere you want.
  2. Restart Plex
  3. Now open FileStation
  4. Navigate PlexData → Plex Media Server
  5. While it looks like you’re in the PlexData shared folder, you are not. You’re in the QPKG storage area which is the real location.
  6. Making a backup (ZIP) of everything you see here is a “true” backup.

Thank you very much for your answer. I need full backup includes all of the log files.

How I can Navigate PlexData → Plex Media Server? Is there any specific to do process.
