If I understood Samsungs developer page correctly, it’s running Tizen, just like newer models, but an older version. Is there an important protocol or API that’s missing?
I get that the Orca App still works, but it’s missing some new features, translation is broken and its interface looks outdated.
Is it possible to help revive Orca’s app, could I help?
I dobt think old tvs are tizen
AFAIR they are missing the computing power to run the new app satisfactorily.
The 2015 models are, as seen on the developer page and in the TV’s settings.
Oh, that makes sense, considering that the YouTube app also disabled animations for my TV.
