@CGameDev Because it’s a faster CPU it does compensate for not having the hardware transcoding and because I wanted to go down the route of 10gbe I have used SSD’s instead of HDD’s, so I don’t require the cache drives.
Hi @CGameDev, I’m currently looking at buying the same NAS as you have (DS1821+), was wondering if you managed to get rid of the error you started this thread for?
I’m also looking at picking up this NAS and wondering if the issue was resolved?
