Ever since What’s On was added to the Live TV section. Under Shows on Now I can only see eight shows that are currently being broadcast. The eighth box used to say More and had … in the image box. I could click that and see all of my channels. Since there is no grid guide on the Samsung client, I either have a choice of 8 random shows that are on or go to Browse and wade through +/-15,000 shows that are being broadcast in the following weeks.
Please put the More… button back so I can see ALL of the TV shows I’m paying for.
Works the same on Tizen 2.4 TV and newer one running Tizen 4.0.
Also a problem on Plex client version 4.23.1 on LG WebOS 3.8.
Having the same issue. If we had the grid this wouldn’t be such an issue but right now it’s impossible to select a channel unless it’s luckily one of the eight that show on the home screen.
Uggh, I got PLEX for the purpose of playing Live TV on my samsung tv’s and my HDHomerun. Only had Plex for a week now and regretting it after not actually having a guide to scroll through on the Samsung. The “whats on now” under Live TV is very damn limited.
Hoping something changes, how long has it been like this with no grid guide on a samsung tv?
I noticed on the FireTV client , in addition to a grid, they have a set of blocks listing the most recently played channels. I would LOVE at least that to tide us over until the grid.
At least it would make it easy to find channels I frequent.
But also PLEASE put the “More …” choice back into Shows on Now.
Well, I just upgraded to server version 1.18.7.2438 and Tizen client 4.21.2.
I see that you added the “More…” back to Shows on Now, but you also broke hardware transcoding again. I had to disable hardware transcoding on the server again to prevent the server from crashing when I try to watch live tv fromthe Tizen client. AAAAHHHH!!! you fix one bug and simultaneously resurrect an old one.
