I know that Plex will record live TV so you can rewind or pause. When does these recordings reset? If I am watching live TV and just shut the TV off with exiting live tv, will the recordings reset so it doesn’t fill my HDD with unwanted recordings. Or is it best to exit Live TV before shutting off the TV? I did a quick search and didn’t find the question.
Stopping Plex and exiting playback is always better.
That way the server knows it can stop serving data.
Storing the point where you stopped playback (for later resume) will also work more reliably.

I’m watching live tv. Plex is recording this live tv so I can rewind this live tv. I am not using the DVR to save the show. The show ends and I turn off the TV that is using Tivo Stream to watch this LIVE TV. The Tivo stays on, but the TV is off. Will Plex reset the live rewind recording at some point?
Sorry, I indeed don’t understand the question. What’s with this Tivo? Plex doesn’t have anything to do with TiVo.
