when i added second HDD plex says no media

external I just connected to a usb port
How did you link it inside your Plex Media Server (the server software, not physically)?

I presume there a folders with media on the new HDD. Did you add the folders as new libraries?
yes so i actually added tv shows and those worked but then none of my movies showed up only tv shows. I deleted the plex server now I cant get it reinstalled
Presumably you added the movies folder as a Movies library?
After adding more storage drives, you need to stop and restart the server on Windows. Otherwise it won’t notice the new drive.
