Seriously, what possessed you? This is the single most hated feature on Netflix and I have had it off on all my Plex players forever.
Used the Web client today (which has been used before and recently with autoplay OFF) and lo and behold the stupid thing was back on. Note this is not a new browser install, etc etc etc. The only thing that could have turned it back on was an update from your end.
User settings should be preserved in all updates.
The user settings of the web app are stored in a cookie. If you clear them out of your browser, they are lost.
Preserve cookies of the domain plex.tv
Use the online version of the app, not the local one: app.plex.tv
Verify that “sync settings” is activated under
Settings - Plex Web - General - ‘Show Advanced’
