I would like to see a local authentication server built into Plex that would perform a couple functions: Mirrors the functionality of plex.tv for authentication purposes. Replicates from Plex.tv only the account data needed for our own PMS server (main account and friends). This service should be locked down so it is not manageable locally, its only source of data should be official replication of applicable accounts from Plex.tv.
