Hello. I would like for the software to suggest any of my pre-created collections when I start typing a collection name in the tags area.
I have to type the whole collection name before it becomes available for me to select. Unless there is an easier way for me to add a title to a collection, this is very frustrating – especially when I am in a hurry and type it wrong. Now I have two collections, one misspelled.
Also, would be great to grab a bunch of titles and mass import into a collection.
Click the 3 dots of the poster → Add to
The 3 most recently collections you added things to will be there
If it’s not visible click “Add to Collection” and this box comes up
You can either scroll to your selection or use that search bar to type it in
That sear bar does what you’re looking for
To add multiple files to a collection at once you can click as many of those orange check marks in the upper left of the poster, or click the first one…hold shift…click the last one
You will see the menu at the top pop up and you can add all of them
The tag field already suggests collections as you type. You just have to scroll down a bit because the dropdown overflows the bottom part of the modal.

@SwiftPanda16 I don’t know what you’re talking about. Mine does not suggest anything. I use the web portal on my PC, or sometimes the Plex app on my PC, and either method does not suggest anything as I type it.
My Plex is on my Synology NAS, btw. But I like @JaysPlex 's reply, as I think this will help me greatly.
