Need an invitation too… i am a Plex Pass memeber since 2014 and the cloud database is all i want for Christmas…
Just received an invite but it’s practically useless to me as I only have Amazon Drive subscription and other cloud storages aren’t as affordable. So much for waiting.
Any ways I could get in instead of AiMAnsarie? Been waiting since September with my unlimited dropbox 5tb setup
im waiting for one so i can buy plex pass to use it with my unlimited google drive
I’d like one too. Signed up to Plex Pass especially!
Me too - thank you

I disagree with this, we already have a lot of people with access who doesn’t test the product and then complain that it isn’t stable. I think they def need to filter people through and find people that actually want to test the product.

They drove a LOT of the original testers away when you failed to come through with the promised provider, Amazon.
As far as stability goes it was not particularly stable or reliable when I tested but that may have changed.
But bitching about the quality of the testers says more about the quality of the product and the development team/effort than it does about the testers. My experience was that there was poor interaction and that will drive good testers away quite quickly.
Heck there was not even a way to leave the program. I posted my desire to be removed from it and I was told that it would be passed on but here we are MUCH later and I still have the ability to add the Plex Cloud and I still have access to the forums.
I guess I may be taking up a space someone else could have but I have done what I could to remove that impediment to others but Plex has not followed up at all.
I think Plex was, and is, simply more interested in the hype they could generate than they are about actually getting it tested correctly.
I really wanted it to work correctly and I really wanted to test it but when things failed and I asked to be removed that should have happened quickly and it has not and that failure says a lot about the project itself and the reason there is a perception of poor quality testers.

The issue was more with Amazon than Plex with them not giving in and relaxing their limits and other API calls. If Amazon is not wanting to play ball, there is not much Plex can do. While i do agree some did leave there are still several that have been around from the beginning still testing.
They have since then opened up Dropbox, One Drive and Google Drive, which are comparable cloud services. While not as cheap as Amazon ($5 a month Amazon to $10 a month for Google) the services are better in quality in my opinion.

Again its beta, shouldn’t expect it to be always stable. At the moment its been 85 to 90% stable for me.

I am not bitching about the quality of testers, I was simply stating from what i have seen on the forums, where people are just wanting to play around with Plex Cloud and not actually test it. People come in expecting a fully operation stable server. Then they complain about it being unstable and not working and wondering why its not fixed.

It has been noted that they will be adding a feature that will remove yourself from beta. If i had to take a guess, they originally didn’t want to remove access in case people wanted to test it again at a later stage.

I am not for sure when you checked last there have been several updates pushed out over the past week or so alone. They are working actively on it. .
i hope they are working on it. i see plex synch in my account but not activate. i really want to test it. A friend have it and he test it. 3D,HD,SD,x265… we want to test more an more. But, only my friend can test. His google cloud has some disconnection but work at 85/90% all time.Sometimes 100%. i hope a very soon “open beta” for all.
just remove people who have access to the beta and who say nothing for others real tester.
thx plex, we’ll wait…wait… lol.
Here there are people begging to get in, and in the beta group people are literally posting topics like “how do opt out of beta testing plex cloud? It’s crap & ruining my life.”
Kinda ironic when you start thinking about it…
