When will the invites come out for the Plex Cloud Beta?

Luckily I have a friend that has gigabit internet connection, so I moved my plex server to his place for now. Uploading about 8 TB of stuff shouldn’t take as long now. Now all I need is that invite :slight_smile:

I have been uploading my 4TB worth of content for over a month now, day and night (stupid TWC and their 5mb max upload speed). Me needs invite! plex pass lifetime subscriber for years :smiley:

I have a feeling its going to be a bit before invites go out again. BETA has hit a stand still at the moment.

I’ve been a Plex Pass sub for 3 years, and I already had unlimited storage with Amazon before signing up to the beta in September.

I guess they’re just doing a slow rollout

I am all uploaded to Amazon Cloud now! Took forever, however, it’s all there! So… I just need an invite to be able to beta test Plex Cloud now. I am a UK user with a lifetime pass, unlimited Amazon storage and fast broadband.

Sadly, due to some unforeseen circumstances, I am unable to set up from home anymore (until mid next year at least) so, to be able to use Amazon/Plex would be a lifesaver, if possible :wink:

On 5th December there will be new invites, they said. Didn’t get one. Who did?

I got the invite a couple of hours ago. For everyone uploading content to the Amazon Cloud Drive excitedly: New invites will not be able to use the Amazon Cloud for now, due to problems. Only OneDrive, Google Drive and Dropbox are available as of right now. I’m extremely disappointed (since I’ve uploaded my whole offline library to the ACD in the last few months), but what can you do. I hope (and believe) they’ll re-add Amazon soon, but I figured I’ll spare some of you the let-down by posting this message.

Yes, we are inviting more users in batches. Keep in mind this is a closed beta, not a typical Plex Pass pre-release. Features and functionality is subject to change.

After using PLEX for many years, I’ve finally purchased a lifetime membership to give you guys my support!
I definitely would love a PLEX Cloud beta invite please, as this was one of two wanted features that I’ve wanted.

I am also requesting for a PLEX cloud beta invitation to test the new service with Amazon and Google Drive. I do not want to run my NAS at home all the time to stream my PLEX files. I am just a step away to purchase a PLEX lifetime membership if I get the beta access. THX guys for the great job!

Amazon isnt available this phase. Google Drive, One Drive and Drop Box is currently being tested. Just a FYI.

When did it change? Last time I checked Amazon was primary cloud storage option for testing.

Ya I also received an email today that says Amazon is out for now. :-SS
No other cloud storage provider is cheap enough to contain my 10TB media :((
Although I’m already using acd_cli and digitalOcean VPS as my personal cloud server but that costs mein 30 AUD per month and I was happy that I won’t have to anymore! :expressionless:

I was sorry to hear of dropping Amazon Cloud but I am setting up media on Google Drive in hopes of getting an invite soon. Sure would like one during my Christmas break while I have the time to work on it.

PLEX could make me a Christmas gift and add me to the PLEX cloud beta service - I would like to test it during Christmas time :slight_smile: THX
