Where are the plex employees?

I am a paying Plex Pass customer, and to not get a single comment on my thread asking for help with a corrupt DVR config on my server is just not acceptable. I’m begging for help here, and am being ignored. My next step is to start spamming until someone answers. :frowning:

Plex doesn’t provide support.

I tried tagging employees once to get a reply too, and they just banned me for a week. That’s when I decided it was time to switch to Emby.

Good to see nothing around here ever changes.

I brought this up to the CEO, this is a pretty big issue. I think they’re under strict timelines and barely have any time to respond. I also am on emby as they have great support. But I also use Plex. At least you got a mod to reply to you after 7 days :flushed:

You’re not able to delete the DVR and reset up the tuners? Or you don’t want to go through the hassle of doing that. I know it’s a pain in the ass. I’ve had to do it a couple times. The steps I’ve taken. Clear the DVR folder completely of content, delete the tuners, uninstall Plex, re installed Plex, which will still have your database as you’re not deleting that, then reset up tuners. I’m not super technical but I had an issue in the past where my guide wasn’t working correctly and my DVR was crashing the server and this worked for me.

Would first help to post your logs, also the hardware specs of your server and other support hardware you are using.

The website has many people who often have insights but first helps to have an accurate picture of the problem and relevant information.

Also have you tried rebooting, updating firmware and / or updated to the latest version, things like that?

No I can’t even delete the DVR to set it up from scratch. :frowning:

I actually have that. Forgot to mention the thread. Plex DVR appears to be corrupt (unable to remove)

And I see one of the forum heavy’s here has already responded and hopefully provided some useful information.

Yep, but having done more research this is indeed a Plex bug, and pretty nasty one it looks like for FreeBSD users.
