when subtitles are missing one of the agents can find them for you.
if I remember correctly these subs were than stored in the same folder as the video-file.
but this seems to be changed now.
or is there a setting that I have overlooked ??
All build-in agents stores their subs deeply berried within the Library, and not next to the media (Sidecar)
An official plugin named Sub-Zero has the option of both, and defaults to sidecar
To find the location of where within the library, use ExportTools with level 666

before this, I started out with a Raspberry Pi 3B, running Raspbian Lite.
I made the settings for subs and they always came in the same folder as the media files.
I don’t remember downloading Sub-Zero from any Git.
may it was there all the time.
now I am on a new machine with Debian 9
anyway I added Sub-Zero as instructed and I’ll wait and see.
other suggestions are welcome, of course.
edit: my Raspberry also had Sub-Zero installed.
