Where is the profile photo located / How to change manually?

Hey there :slight_smile:

So as far as I know (or I assume) the plex account itself including the subsrciption and the profile photo is stored on plex servers.
In case I change my profile photo it is uploaded onto their servers, right? Does this also count for managed users or is the profile photo of them stored locally?

Can I find the avatars on my private plex media server and replace them on filesystem level or are they directly retrieved from the plex servers?

You can change the profile picture of each account via the account‘s settings (works individually for each regular or managed user)

Thanks for the reply, but you got my question wrong.

I just wanted to know if the profile picture is stored locally on the plex media server instance. So if there is a possibility to change the profile picture (in the local instance filessystem) by replacing the image file.
Or if there is an API call which allows to change the profile picture.

The intention is to sync the avatar with other software used on the host.
