I have the problem of buying more hard drives and replacing the smaller ones I already have, but I don’t want to do it from the plex server, but rather enter the file where it is located and modify it from there, I need to do it this way , because if I don’t do it this way, when I modify the location from the same plex server, it will start to sort and download the covers and create mini videos, as if it were something new, and that is a lot of work and takes time. Editing the database itself is not recommended.
I do the same thing, as my older smaller drives start dying I replace them with bigger new drives. All you need to do is assign them the same drive letter and Plex wont care you swapped drives.
