I am using the latest s/w what’s the problem…
Can you provide some info? What version of Windows are you running for example. Did it seem to install ok? What version did you download?
win 10 yes install was fine just d/l the latest version of pms

just d/led it again and when started it it said a whole load of dlls were missing

Do you have any anti-virus running that you could whitelist Plex in . That could quarantine them.
there are no log at all in the PMS folder in app data? is the PMS folder there at all?
yes files are there no log folder tho will try to disable anti virus …
if you get the error again can you take a screen shot of error that says the DLL are missing.
the installer logs might also be in %Temp%\ or %LocalAppData%\Plex Media Server\Logs\Installer Logs
still no joy tried turning anti virus off…
is it possible to d/l earlier versions to see if that works?

If you do, did you see the post about the temp folder and the plex media server install logs ?
Still as before - you said missing DLLs ? Could you provide screenshots with the logs
What is the size of the downloaded file and it’s full name ?
Just checked plex.tv and it appears you have plexserver linked to your plex.tv account and seen online a few days ago.
