Attempted to reinstall Plex on my new computer. The following are the steps I took and what occurred:
1.) Installed Plex Server
2.) Checked and saw it was running in the back ground.
3.) Installed Plex and attempted to add files.
4.) Plex told me I needed to add the server which was already installed. When I attempted to run it the message sated that following drivers were not found
a. Soci_sqite3.dll
b. Soci_core.dll
c. Libcurl.dll
d. Opencv_core455.dll
5.) When I checked the folder all were present.
6.) Removed both programs, reinstalled Plex media first and then installed the server.
7.) Again would not work and said to reinstall the server. Did this several times with no luck.
8.) Plex files located in Program Files Directory
9.) Tried buy could not download the server file.
10.) After reading the forum I tried cleaning registry and then reinstalled. Still did not work.
Had Plex since 2014 when I purchased a lifetime Plex Pass and this is the first time with a new computer I could not get it to run. I have a second plex account with a different e-mail but on that account I don’t have the Plex Pass. When that account is active I can add libraries.
